The Greater Bay Area Costumers Guild presents:
A Victorian Artworks Afternoon
Sunday, June 22nd, 2008 -- 12pm to 4pm
Redwood Park, Oakland, CA
Within the beautiful surroundings of the redwood forest, this event gives everyone a chance to emulate our predecessors by spending a relaxed afternoon following creative pursuits. Use your own style and artistic instincts and simply go exploring with the brush. Or if you like to exercise your oral expression, get together with your friends and read some scenes from famous historical plays.
Suggested costume era: 1860 - 1880.
Advance tickets required - $5 GBACG members*, $10 non-members, children 0-5 free
*Members of our sister organizations (Costumers Guild West and Art Deco Society of California) may purchase tickets at the GBACG member price.
